On April 30, 2022, WTKR reported a fire at a grain processing plant in Chesapeake, Virginia.
Firefighters received a call at 8:41 p.m. after a plant operator verified a fire at the location and employees were evacuated.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a massive soybean processing tank on fire. In order to fight the flames, firefighters used multiple hose lines. The incident was called under control at 9:48 p.m. with no injuries reported.
