Incident Description:
On April 19, 2022, WWJ950 reported a fire at a coal-burning power station in Trenton, Michigan.
Firefighters from two crews after reports of smoke rising from the facility were first called in to officials. A fire had broken out in a coal conveyor belt area. According to the fire department, the fire was small and was underground.
Crews were at the plant for four and a half hours and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
