On April 26, 2022, the Goshen News reported a dust collector fire at a hardwood processing company in Elkhart, Indiana.
Firefighters were dispatched to the scene at 12:16 a.m. Tuesday to investigate a report of a possible structure fire. Upon arrival, fire crews reported seeing a large dust collector on fire at the top of the silo. The fire was reported as under control at 1:29 a.m.
Fire damage to the business is estimated at $40,000 USD.
No injuries were reported.
