Incident Description:
On April 9, 2022, Lex 18 reported a fire at a sawmill in Rowan County, Kentucky.
The fire ignited at around 2:30 a.m. It took crews about 10 hours to extinguish all the flames, but the main building was saved. It was expected that firefighters would have to return to mop up any hot spots.
No injuries were recorded. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
