Incident Description:
On March 1, 2022, the Times-News reported a fire at a lumber mill in Huguley, Alabama.
The Lanett Fire Department responded at 10:30 a.m. Six trucks and 25 firefighters were at the scene for nearly six hours to put out the fire and keep it from flaring back up. It started as a small fire in the dryer area, and fire crews worked with the plant employees to get it under control.
No injuries were reported.
