Incident Description:
On August 19, 2020, Sabah reported an explosion at a wood processing facility in Kastamonu, Turkey.
The explosion occurred in a sawdust silo. A fire broke out after the explosion and caused panic in the area. Factory officials notified firefighters and took steps to extinguish the flames. Fire crews completed the work.
Because of the fire, extensive security measures were taken around the factory. The sawdust silo was damaged.
The cause of the explosion is under investigation. No injuries were reported.
