On September 23, 2021, the Brookings Register reported a grain dryer fire at an agricultural facility in White, South Dakota.
The fire was reported at 8:20 p.m. When the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office along with the White Fire Department responded, they found fire in a grain dryer containing over 500 bushels of corn.
Property damage was estimated at $53,000. No injuries were reported.
