Incident Description:
On July 27, 2021, GAZ reported a fire at an agricultural cooperative in Arrio de Tigre, Brazil.
Firefighters were alerted at 7:00 a.m. During the firefighting efforts, the truck’s pump stopped working and a volunteer fire brigade was called in to help.
The fire was put out at around noon. According to the Arrio de Tigre Fire Chief, the fire was concentrated in a structure that houses dry grain, which made access difficult. Working together, the two brigades used over 10,000 litres of water on the flames.
No injuries were reported.
