Incident Description:
On March 26, 2021, Lomazoma reported a coal mine explosion in Shanxi Province, North China.
At least four miners were killed when the explosion occurred. Authorities later announced that their bodies had been recovered by 10:35 a.m. Beijing time.
They explained that the accident took place when 12 workers were digging an underground tunnel for a coal mining company. Eight workers were rescued and the rest remained trapped until their bodies were recovered.
