On February 20, 2021, the Gazette reported a fire at a conveyor systems manufacturer in Valley City, Ohio.
Fire crews were dispatched to the building at 8:30 a.m., after employees called 911. When employees noticed smoke in a vacuum that picked up debris from the machines, they took out the filter cartridges and moved it outside, making it easier for firefighters to put the fire out.
No injuries were reported.
