Incident Description:
On November 5, 2020, Feed and Grain reported a fire at a pair of grain elevators in Torquay, Saskatchewan.
When fire crews arrived, they found a fully involved fire at one of the elevators. They were able to stop it from spreading to the other grain elevator and a nearby field, but the affected structure could not be saved.
According to the Leader-Post, the fire was so hot that it warped a portion of the railway track. Although the elevator was destroyed, no injuries were reported.
